The problem of having adequate child care was a big topic during Congresswoman Sharice Davids’ tour of the Head Start facility in Ottawa yesterday, April 1st. Head Start Director Clara Cox says the pay rate for childcare workers is really lagging:
Davids took notes on the tour and promised to study the subject when she gets back to Washington and look into possible solutions.
