Thursday, April 11th, the Osage County Sheriff’s office took a man into custody for drug-related charges. During a scheduled patrol, a traffic stop was conducted on a 2011 Toyota at milepost 161 on I-35 for 30-year-old Julio A. Casanovavega of Springdale, Arkansas. Two thousand fentanyl pills were located in his vehicle and he was transported to the Osage County Jail facility on suspicion of distribution of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while having a suspended or revoked license and a registration violation.
