Brett Staneslow, Blessing Box Director julie Riggins, Hope House Director Michelle Graff, Police Chief Adam Weingartner and Commissioner Zach Clayton all attended the 2024 Homeless Coalition Conference in Lawrence recently. Many different topics were covered in the conference by several speakers. Stanislaw says one thing that stood out to him was that the housing situation in the state is directly tied to the homeless issue:
He added that there were several ideas presented that could work in Ottawa and the group that was there from Ottawa will work together to better present those ideas in the near future.
