The West Franklin Board of Education has announced that they are now part of the ‘Diligent Community’, an online portal for all meetings, agendas, minutes, as well as policies and handbooks. The goal is to provide the districts patrons and visitors with an easy to use site for information and to provide transparency with district business. You can access the portal by accessing the USD 287 website and going to the tab ‘Board Documents and Meeting Information at the top of the page. Future and past Board Meeting dates are on the right side.
Current policies can be found by going to the ‘Policy’ tab. There is a search function that allows for a search by any keyword. Also, under the ‘Document Library’ tab. You can find all district approved employee handbooks including the negotiated agreement, next year building handbooks and much more. As stated, the goal is to make all information to USD 287 patrons and everybody else easily available.
