The Franklin County Commission has approved two proclamations….one is National Corrections Officer Week for May 5 through 11th and National Police Week which is May 12th through 18th. Franklin County Sheriff Jeff Richards gave a few remarks:
The County Commission recently approved an increase to $20 an hour for all corrections officers and for adult detention center employees.
