Anderson County High School held their graduation ceremonies this past weekend. Seventy-two graduates received their diplomas. Two Anderson County High School seniors were awarded scholarships by the Anderson County Hospital Auxiliary during the 2024 Scholarship Night held recently.

Recipients of the $500 2024 Scholarships are Reagan Witherspoon and Brenna Kohlmeier. Both will pursue careers in nursing. Reagan will attend Neosho County Community College to complete her pre-requisite courses and then transfer to Labette Community College to complete her nursing degree. Brenna will also attend Neosho County Community College to complete her pre-requisite courses and will transfer to Emporia State University to complete her nursing degree.

The Anderson County Hospital Auxiliary offers two scholarships annually to graduates of an Anderson County High School, who have chosen to pursue a career in the medical field.

Congratulations to all the graduates, some who will be attending a four year university, others a career and technical college, some entering the military and others hoping to go straight into the workforce.
