If everything goes according to plan, there might well be a new ObGyn at AdventHealth Ottawa. During the regular Ransom Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees meeting….at which officials from AdventHealth are also present, Chief Financial Officer, Shawn Perry, had an announcement:
AdventHealth Ottawa paused birthing services on November 9th. After Ottawa Family Physicians let them know they were no longer able to provide 24/7 coverage needed for labor and delivery care to Franklin County Residents. AdventHealth says that as soon as birth services resume at the hospital, Ottawa Family Physicians doctors will be welcome to provide labor and delivery care.
