The Franklin County Commission has given its ok to the purchase of a new track loader at the landfill. Solid Waste Manager, Pat Campbell told commissioners the old one has just about see its last days:
The loader is on site at Caterpillar in Topeka, so Campbell says the new machine should be available in just a few days, and operational soon after.
