For the second time in just over 24 hours, the city of Lawrence recorded a homicide. The latest, early yesterday, June 13th, on the south side of Lawrence as a 17-year-old boy was shot to death. According to Lawrence police spokeswoman Laura McCabe, Lawrence police were called to the 2400 block of Alabama Street early yesterday morning and found Isaiah Neal suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he later died. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 18-year-old Cir Allen Keith Glover, as they believe he has valuable information about the case. Yesterday’s slaying marked the second homicide this week in Lawrence. A 43-year-old man was killed after being injured in a fight late Tuesday, June 11th, near east 25th Terrace and Franklin Road close to the Lawrence Community Shelter on the city’s east side. Thirty four-year-old George Luke Miller, was arrested in connection with the man’s death Tuesday night. Anyone with information on yesterday morning’s shooting death on Alabama Street are asked to call Lawrence police.
