Many people received an alert on their phones yesterday morning, June 18th, about an armed man. My phone gave a link to Morrilton. Many links did not work, and many people don’t click on strange links. Here is what the alert was about. A man named Stacy Drake, an Alabama man accused of killing three people in Oklahoma, was last seen at a motel in Morrilton, Arkansas. Arkansas police say Drake killed the people in two separate carjackings. This morning, police sent an emergency alert to phones across the region warning people to be on the lookout.
Drake is a white man, with brown hair and eyes. He is 50 years old, 5 foot 11 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. Authorities says considering his past, he is probably armed and will not hesitate to attempt another carjacking and use deadly force. The alert was issued for the entire region, because if Drake does acquire a vehicle, there is no telling what direction he may travel. If you see him, do not approach him, call 911 immediately.
