It’s a busy time for farmers in Kansas! With harvest underway and hay season in full swing, farmers in the area are hurrying to get the crops in and hay cut. This leads to a dangerous time of the year for drivers and farmers. Miami County Extension District Agent Katelyn Barthol asks that as you are out and about on the highways and county roads….be alert:
She adds to also respect farm implements on the highway and wait until they are able to get as far right as possible before attempting to pass them.
