The Ottawa Utility Department the other day got an early delivery of next generation electric meters, but the euphoria was short lived. Utilities Director Dan Riney gave the Ottawa City Commission some details.
The city eventually wants to replace all electric meters to improve reliability and to make more accurate calculations of electricity use by customers.
