A large showing of police officers and crime tape surrounded a house on Logan Street Friday afternoon, June 21st, and left the public wondering. At 2:40 that afternoon the Ottawa Police were called to the 600 block of East Logan for a reported death. Upon arrival, they found a 33-year-old Ottawa woman deceased inside the residence. The Ottawa Police Department says the cause of death and circumstance surrounding it are still under investigation. They add that there is no known threat to the community from the incident.
