The Ottawa Library Summer Reading Program got off with a blast, even if it was a very wet blast. Library Director Terri Chartier updated the Library Board of Trustees:
Chartier says last year’s opening was bigger, with 600 people, but considering the rainy weather it was a very good start to summer reading. Library staff say the event was very encouraging.
