The Ottawa School District has joined an insurance pool of dozens of Kansas school districts to have liability insurance and other protection for the next three years. School Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs says school insurance is rather messy:
The School Board approved spending about half a million dollars for the next fiscal year on the new policy.
