The infamous Whippoorwill Showboat that capsized, killing 16 people on Pomona Lake in 1978, has a new owner and he has big plans for the boat, turning it into a pirate ship! One issue is the boat was not real safe, being top heavy. Owner Clay Mead explains how they are going to improve the safety of the boat, which at the moment is 665 feet long and only 16 feet wide:
