A proposed group home at 825 South Main has received preliminary approval by the Ottawa Planning Commission. The project is expected to be used for housing Ottawa University students. During a Public Hearing conducted by the Commission, Ottawa University Residence Life Director Manager, John Pashia, said the project is needed for housing students:
The Planning Commission recommended approval of the project to the Ottawa City Commission, which has the final decision.
