The Republican National Convention got underway last night, July 15th, and former President Donald Trump, only a couple days removed from being shot in the ear at a rally in Pennsylvania, has chosen his running mate. Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, officially announced the GOP’s 2024 ticket and ABC’s Steven Portney has more on JD Vance:
The Republican National Convention will continue through Thursday, July 18th. Trump is expected to speak at least once during that time.
