The Franklin County Fair opens today, July 17th, and it’s a busy day, right out of the gate, so to speak. Actually, things kicked of yesterday with 4-H food entries, photography and visual arts exhibits being judged. A huge day today, Open Class exhibits in the same categories being judged. All of which will be on display for the public in Celebration Hall. Frontier Extension Agent, Jessica Flory with more:

Some major animal shows today, including dairy cattle at 4:00, dairy goats at 4:30, sheep and meat goats at 5:00, and rabbits at 6:00. Tomorrow, more fun events. More animal shows, the ever popular Carnival opens at 6:00 and the Ranch Rodeo will be held in the Grandstand Arena. For a great time, take the family out to the Franklin County Fair!
