One of the five murder suspects in the Franklin County Detention Center will be in court soon. 48-year-old Christopher Hassell, of Williamsburg was arrested in October of last year for the murder of 64-year-old Mark Ambler. He has a status conference in Franklin County District Court on June 27th. Franklin County Attorney Brandon Jones.
Deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 100 block of West William Street on a report of an unresponsive and injured man, where they found Ambler deceased. Hassell was located in Williamsburg the day of the murder and he was arrested and charged with first degree murder and aggravated burglary.
