More endorsements are coming out for Derek Schmidt. The National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund has announced its endorsement of former Kansas Attorney General Schmidt in his campaign to represent Kansas’ Second Congressional District. Schmidt thanked them for their support.
Schmidt will face off in a Republican Primary Election on August 6th. The other candidates include Jeff Kahrs, Michael Ogle, Shawn Tiffany and Chad Young. Incumbent Jake Laturner has decided not to run for reelection.
