Ottawa Mayor Mike Skidmore paid a visit to the Ottawa Library Board of Trustees during its regular meeting. Skidmore represents the city commission as part of the outreach of the commission to various agencies. Skidmore complimented the library for keeping the budget under control.
In the past, the library has at times been questioned somewhat sharply about budget matters by some members of the city commission, but library officials have always maintained their budget is as tight as it can be without starting to hamper operations.
