A blackout last week that affected the North Industrial Park in Ottawa has stirred its share of blowback from affected companies. During the regular Ottawa City Commission Meeting, Franklincounth Development Council Director, Paul Bean revealed he’s heard quite a bit of unhappiness about how the city handled the crisis. Commissioner Sara Caylor and Bean discussed the matter of whether companies were promptly notified about the blackout:
Bean says if companies in the North Industrial Park start talking to their associates about what they might consider an undependable electricity supply, it does not bode well for future recruitment of industry.
