The August 6th Primary is now history and for the most part, not a lot of surprises. Franklin County Clerk, Janet Paddock, says there was a tight race for U. S. Representative, District 3:
Crnovich also won in Anderson County, getting 631 votes to Reddy’s 396; however, the race was much closer in Miami County with Crnovich getting a narrow victory, 1,641 votes to Reddy’s 1,611. Overall it appears that Reddy defeated Crnovich state wide, 53% to 47%. The official winner will face Democrat Charice Davids in the November General Election.
Paddock estimates the voter turnout at around 14%. The normal for a primary is around 11%.
