The annual meeting of the Franklin County Farm Bureau had a sobering note. The special speaker was Nick Hasenkamp, whose father had serious physical and mental health problems. Hasenkamp told about his father’s plight:

Hasenkamp urged his audience to never think they are of no value to their family or friends. He says feeling like they’re valued helps cope with other issues that come with farming.
