Several properties in Ottawa have been recommended for the Neighborhood Revitalization Program. The houses at 912 and 914 South Cedar, 1336 North Sycamore, and 739 South Ash were presented to the ottawa city commission by Planning Assistant Ashley Hird and she explained the tax rebates that would be due on them would total about $94,000 over 10 years. Mayor Mike Skidmore and Commissioner Zach Clayton discussed the benefits:

The commission approved the properties for the program unanimously. The Neighborhood Revitalization Program issues a property tax rebate as an incentive to make improvements to property within certain areas of the city to promote community improvement, development and rehabilitation.
