It was probably inevitable, but there have been some delays in the renovation of Old 50 Highway. Franklin County Public Works Director, Jeff Welton says the main problem is utilities not being relocated as they should have been:
The rain overnight may lead to more delays, but Welton says despite the delays, overall progress continues to be good on the project and is still on schedule to be completed near the end of October, possibly extending into November, weather permitting.
