With the new school year underway, the USD 290 School District is working hard with the Franklin County Development Council to ensure all students in the district are ready for what lies beyond their school years. Whether that is college, tech school or the workforce. Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs explains:
Franklin County Development Council Director, Paul Bean, is working with area school to coordinate a variety of opportunities for the students to learn about what industry exists right here in Franklin County that offers good paying jobs and advancement opportunities. Career Day at Ottawa High School will highlight that effort this spring.
