An event missing for a while will return to Ottawa tomorrow, August 24th. The Skunk Run Book Sale. In years past, the sale was held at City Park, along with other festivities. This year, a little smaller scale: Library Director Terry Chartier made the announcement:
The sale will be held tomorrow, August 24th, from 8:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon. A huge selection of both new and used books are priced to go! New books will be $2.00, hardbacks for $1.00 and paperbacks for 50 cents. All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Library Summer Reading Program and the Franklin County Children’s Literature Festival.
