If you are headed out toward Old Kansas City Road, you don’t have to navigate construction anymore. The extensive improvement project on Old Kansas City Road south of Paola is complete. The project included widening lane sizes from 10 feet to 12 feet, milling and overlaying the surface, flattening and widening, and replacing crossroad culverts. Crews also installed and upgraded curve signage to meet the standards of the manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways.
