One of America’s most legendary actors and iconic voices has died. James Earl Jones passed away yesterday, September 9th. Jones was a star back in the 1960’s, winning an Emmy in East Side/West Side, but became iconic when he voiced the role of Darth Vader in the first three Star Wars movies. He starred with Kevin Cotner in Field of Dreams and played Musafa in the Disney movie “The Lion King”, and a friend of Babe Ruth in the Sand Lot. In 2011 he was given an honorary Oscar award for his work.
