The 28th annual Power Of The Past Antique Tractor and Engine Show is going on this weekend September 14th through 15th, in Forest Park. The event draws thousands of people to Ottawa from all across the region and this year, they are hosting a major collectors show. Power Of The Past President Dave Reeves says the show is one of the biggest of its kind, but, started out small:

This year’s feature is Massey Harris Tractors and Monitor engines. A huge turnout is expected as they are hosting the National Massey Expo of North America, expected to draw thousands from around the United States. Forest Park is a perfect place to see the gas and horse powered farm implements of the past and a great chance to take the kids out to see how farmers worked before the age of computers. Look for demos on baling, threshing, blacksmithing, rock crushing, rope making and much more. The show will run tomorrow through Sunday in Forest Park
