This is National Farm Safety and Health Week. This year’s theme is “Don’t Learn By Accident” one of the greatest dangers of being in AG, is that there are many times where you will be working alone. Working with livestock in the barn, repairing a piece of equipment in the shop, or planting out in the field. Changing how we think about working alone can make sure we all gome home safely at the end of the day. A representative of the National AG Safety Education Center says the keys to staying safe are plan ahead and stay focused on what you’re doing:
