The 37th Annual Ol’ Marais River Run Car Show is this weekend, September 20th through 22nd, and the downtown area will be buzzing. Ottawa Police Chief Adam Weingartner says if you park in the wrong spot tomorrow, don’t panic:
The street department will be setting up cones, barricades, water barriers, and detour signs today, September 19th, in preparation for the car show. Expect traffic interruptions along K-68 to 7th Street between Walnut and Hickory streets throughout the day. Police will begin clearing the downtown area late tomorrow afternoon, September 20th. Weingartner added there will be about 60 officers from 10 police agencies assisting throughout the weekend.
