“We the people“…the opening line of a document that set the foundation of our country and has literally changed the world. The United States Constitution was signed September 17th, 1787, 236 years ago. The oldest man to sign it, an American icon, 81-year-old Benjamin Franklin. The youngest, you probably never heard of, Jonathan Dayton, only 26 years old out of New Jersey. A document so important that you probably remember learning the opening stanza…the Preamble, in school and for those of you who don’t remember, maybe this will refresh your memory.
