The Kansas State Fair has announced that this year’s event attracted 328,714 attendees over ten days, highlighting its continued success in celebrating Kansas culture, agriculture, and entertainment. The first Saturday saw an impressive turnout of more than 51,000 visitors, the highest in six years, followed by over 56,000 on the second Saturday. Fair General Manager Bryan Schultz says great weather contributed to the large crowds.
Great music also helped, as the concert series saw acts that included Wynonna Judd, Goo Goo Dolls, Casting Crowns, Riley Green, and The Oak Ridge Boys. The 2024 fair offered a wide array of attractions, including the 25th anniversary of the Grand Drive Junior Livestock Show, live, free stage music, midway rides, and a variety of food and commercial vendors. Guests explored Kansas’ history through agricultural displays and educational exhibits. Next year’s fair will run from September 5th through the 14th.
