As the nation turns to green energy to power our future, energy needs are going to go up dramatically. A conference coming up in October will discuss those needs. Franklin County Development Council Director Paul Bean says he will attend the conference known as the Kansa Economic Policy Conference:
He adds that he and the City of Ottawa are looking into ways to benefit from a variety of sources in the state, including Panasonic. Representatives from Panasonic will be in Ottawa soon to discuss the progress of the plant and answer questions from local businesses.
