Ever heard the phrase “get the lead out”? The City of Ottawa is working on the lead and copper reporting line deadline. What’s that, you ask? Assistant Utilities Director for Water and Wastewater, Scott Snethen says they are trying to assess the amount of lead water pipes in ottawa:
The deadline to collect the inventory assessment is today, October 15th. You still have time to be a part of this and help the city out. They are asking all utility customers to take a survey concerning the type of water lines going into your residence.
