Thursday, October 24th, was a big day for Bo Killough, the local businessman who hosts the annual Bo Hog Wild BBQ, Brewfest and Kidfest. He was able to give monetary gifts to five kids organizations. This years goal was to raise $1000,000, and they beat that goal, taking in $106,000. Just Food, received $25,000; Douglas County CASA, $25,000; COF Training Services, $20,000; Sparkwheel, $20,000; and CASA of the 4th Judicial District $10,000. And that’s just this year.
For just $35.000, people can sample all the beer they want from different breweries and distilleries, chow down on some incredible barbeque, and hang out and listen to some great live music, all donated.
How much as Hog Wild raised over the years? Though the total isn’t quite known, Bo says, well over $2 million! Congratulations on another successful Hog Wild!
