Harry Paul Sundstrom, 77, of Ottawa, KS went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 26, 2024. Harry was born to Melvin Carl and Alma Grace (Bisel) Sundstrom on April 26, 1947, in Randolph, Kansas. At the age of 10, his family relocated to the Ottawa area where they farmed while he attended the Baxter School. He served 6 years in the National Guard at the 127th Headquarters Battery based in Ottawa, KS. He joined the family operation and partnership in 1976 where he continued to work until his passing. He was a Sunday School teacher and ran the church bus for several years. He faithfully attended Pilgrim Bible Church and the yearly 10 day Rockcreek Holiness Barn Camp Meeting on the farm until the time of his passing. He was presently on the Marais de Cygne Drainage Board. Harry loved his role of raising and taking care of the calves and critters during the 60 years of their dairy operation. You could count on Harry to find a solution to almost any mechanical issue. He loved problem solving and fixing things. You could find him driving the semi-trucks during harvest and busy season. 

Harry is survived by his sister, Ruth E. Sundstrom, and brothers, Lyle W. Sundstrom and Raymond C. Sundstrom of rural Ottawa. He is also survived by his three nieces and several great nieces and great nephews, and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Alma, and three sisters, Marilyn Sundstrom, Lois  Hoerner (Paul), and Martha Sundstrom. 

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Pilgrim Bible Church, Ottawa, KS. To celebrate Harry’s life, a visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024 at Pilgrim Bible Church, 316 E. 12th St, Ottawa, KS 66067.
