Voter turnout in last week’s election may have been an all time high in Franklin County. County Clerk, Janet Paddock reports a 65.5% turnout.
She credits her office staff, courthouse workers, and the over 100 election volunteers that went through hours of training and practice before the election in running a smooth and orderly election. All the election results from last week’s general election will be deemed official after the County Canvass , which will be held later this morning.
