The cost of a typical Thanksgiving feast will be less expensive this year. According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, the average cost of preparing Thanksgiving dinner last year was about $47. This year, believe it or not,the cost will be lower, at just over $40 bucks. Turkey is not only a popular food, but K-State Research and Extension Nutrition Specialist, Sandy Procter says it’s a healthy food:
