The Ottawa City Commission has tabled a proposed ordinance regulating camping and storage until next week. The ordinance is aimed a keeping homeless people from camping by the dike and other public places. During discussion of the ordinance, City Attorney, Blaine Finch, had something he wanted to emphasize:
The City Commission plans to take up the ordinance again at the December 11th meeting.
