Kansans will soon be able to start claiming 2025 permits for camping options at the state’s parks later this month. Kansans can start buying annual park permits and reserving campsites on Dec. 9. These permits can be purchased either online or at one of the state park offices. Annual state park vehicle permits will be $25 dollar, $13.75 for older or disabled adults. UTV’s and golf cars will be $52.50. Annual state park camping permits cost $202.50, or 14 night permits are $112.50.

There are some special rules for camping and cabins at state parks during holiday weekends such as Memorial Day,July 4th, and Labor Day. There are 28 state parks for people to explore while camping, hiking, fishing, wildlife watching, biking, horseback riding, hunting, or…just plain ol’ relaxing.
