The Franklin County Commission held its meeting on Wednesday, January 8th, and it marks a milestone for one commissioner. County Administrator Derek Brown paid tribute to departing commissioner, Roy Dunn:
Dunn will be succeeded by Republican Sabrina Meador. Dunn says that the most significant project during his tenure was the renovation of Old 50 Highway, something the commission had been looking to do for years. He also said one project he would like to see in Franklin County is a fishing lake, something the county is lacking.
