Last week, the Osage County Sheriff’s office responded to several burglary and theft reports near Osage City and one near Overbrook. These incidents prompted an immediate response by deputies and investigators who developed key information regarding potential suspects involved in these crimes. A search warrant was executed, and most of the stolen property was recovered. Two men were arrested. Twenty-three year-old Colton Hill, of Osage City on charges of felony burglary attempted burglary, felony theft, misdemeanor theft, driving while license suspended, and illegal registration.
Fifty-two year-old Brian Stevenson, of Pomona was arrested on charges of felony burglary, attempted burglary, felony theft, and misdemeanor theft.

Sheriff Chris Wells says his department is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the community and is actively investigating all angles in relation to these incidents.
