Long time Franklin County 3rd District Commissioner Roy Dunn attended his last meeting on the commission on Monday, January 6th. He decided it was time to retire and did not run for reelection. Dunn says there have been many memorable projects the county has completed during his time as commissioner, but some of the most important are road projects:
Dunn was praised by the other commissioners and County Administrator Derek Brown cited Dunn’s calm demeanor and how easy he is to talk to. Sabrina Meador will take over as the third district representative starting at next week’s meeting.
