A new year and a new amenity for the City of Ottawa. Ottawa officially took over operations of the golf course on December 30th. City Manager Brian Silcott says it’s going to take some time to get the course to where they want it to be:
He reports they have a lot of work to do and that they have hired Rob Mylnar as the new General Manager and Head Golf Professional for the course. He is a native of Lyndon and Ottawa University alumnus. He will begin working with golfers on Wednesday,January 15th, weather permitting, with the reopening of the Ottawa Golf Course under city management.
