AdventHealth Ottawa is one step closer to resuming birthing services at the hospital. They have introduced doctor of obstetrician-gynecologist Bridget Abney.
Doug Rich, Chief Operating Officer of AdventHealth Ottawa, says they are delighted with the addition to the community. She is an experienced and distinguished ObGyn dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care. Also, her approach to compassionate care aligns with our mission, and he is confident patients will value her expertise.
Abney brings 25 years of experience to the Ottawa area and says she deeply committed to the health and well being of women. She will provide outpatient ObGyn services at the AdventHealth Ottawa Health Park at 9th and Main. She also has admitting privileges and deliver patients at AdventHealth South Overland Park and Shawnee Mission.
Recruiting efforts are underway for labor and delivery services at AdventHealth Ottawa, and Dr. Abney will have admitting privileges there when labor and delivery services resume.
