Two Ottawa city employees have been recognized for their completion of a management program. City Manager Brian Silcott gave some details concerning Utility Superintendent Levi Harn and Interim Public Works Director D. J Welsh.
Also recognized for their completion of the Emerging Leaders Academy were city employees Brian Demoret and Josh Hinderliter. Silcott says the programs help promote leadership skills among city employees, and shows the commitment the four have not only to their jobs, but to serving the people of Ottawa in the best way they can.
